Skipton & The Dales
Homes approved
Plans to build four executive homes in the grounds of a large house have been approved.
Some councillors at the latest Craven Council planning committee meeting argued the planned four and five-bedroom homes off The Bailey, Skipton, were an over-development of the site. But because the development at The Paddock already had outline planning permission, the scheme was given the go-ahead.
Coun Ken Hart said: "There is a desperate need for this type of housing."
