IT was all change for Barnoldswick and Earby Rotary Club with the installation of a new president at their annual general meeting.

William Taylor received the chain of office from his predecessor, Peter Brierley, and then William presented the vice-president’s ribbon to Malcolm Planner.

On hand at the meeting was assistant district governor Ian McTurk, who stressed the importance of finding new Rotarians, a matter which has concerned the local club for some time.

Mr McTurk also revealed the theme for new district governor Mary Bradley, which included the continued fight to eliminate the last pockets of polio.
