    Inquest adjourned

An inquest has been opened and adjourned into the death of a 30-year-old man whose body was found in a stream in Horsforth.

Ramsey Taha Wanas was pronounced dead on February 18 after his body was found in the stream at the back of Woodlands Homecare Centre on Station Road.

An inquest which opened in Leeds last week heard that Mr Wanas, an assistant manager who lived in Cookridge, had appeared to be in good health prior to his death.

Mr Wanas's family and police have asked the public to fill in the gaps in his last movements to help them establish how he ended up in the stream in Horsforth.

Police do not believe his death was suspicious.
