Picture this - take a snapshot of a perfect park and your photo could appear in a charity calendar.
People living in the Calverley and Pudsey areas are being invited to join in a competition to get their snapshots featured in a calendar which will go on sale for Christmas at £3.
There are three themes to choose from, open to adults and children, they are Work, Rest and Play or Wild West and Positive Landscapes.
The calendar will celebrate green spaces around West Leeds Country park which includes a 32km circular trail running from the city centre, through the Aire Valley and into the Calverley countryside.
It then weaves through the green corridor between Leeds and Bradford, through the edge of Pudsey before entering the urban areas of Armley and Wortley..
Councillor Andrew Carter, executive member for Development, said: "We hope this competition will encourage people to explore West Leeds Country Park and discover the wealth of wildlife, greenery and recreation it has to offer."
Closing date for entries is November 16. The calendars will be available to buy from parks headquarters in Farnley Hall by mid-December.
To get a pack which includes handy hints for taking photos, contact Elaine Hill, West Leeds Country Park and Green Gateways officer, at Parks and Countryside, Farnley Hall Park, Hall Lane, Leeds, LS12 5HA.
