Friends and family gathered to help Geoffrey and Lily Spence celebrate their diamond wedding.
The couple, pictured, who live in Heaton, were married at St Luke's Church in Eccleshill.
Mr Spence, now 85, worked for the Yorkshire Electricity Board for 47 years and was awarded the MBE for his services to industrial relations in the electricity supply industry.
Mrs Spence, now 83, was a Post Office telephonist and later worked as a secretary for several years at Green Lane Primary School, Manningham.
Mr Spence is a long-time supporter of Bradford & Bingley RFC, known as The Bees, and Mrs Spence is an active member of St Martin's Church, Heaton.
The couple have two daughters, four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren, who all celebrated with the couple and their friends at West Bradford Golf Club in Chellow Grange Road.
