Wibsey Urban Village is to consult people on the draft recommendations for the future of the village from a major survey of residents.
Councillor David Green, chairman of the partnership said: "We have had hundreds of replies to the survey and as a result we have been able to produce some draft recommendations to address the problems and concerns expressed by the people of the village.
"Issues that have been raised include parking and traffic, community facilities, community safety and recreation facilities but residents have also raised issues that reflect their wishes to bring greater pride and recognition to their village."
Ann Jackson, deputy chairman of the partnership, said: "The people of Wibsey have got the opportunity to influence the plan for their village. I would urge everyone to spend a few minutes looking at the recommendations and making their contribution to the final plan."
Consultation meetings are being held today from 1.30pm to 5.30pm at Wibsey Methodist Church and tomorrow from 2pm until 6pm at the Salvation Army centre, Holroyd Hill.
