The former conductor of the Northern Ballet Theatre Orchestra and principal organist at Christchurch in Ilkley until last year, Craig Edwards, is returning to the town to help raise money for Aids orphans in Zambia.
Mr Edwards, together with the Fairfax Singers from Menston and the Nachtanz Renaissance Quartet, are performing in concert at Christchurch on Saturday.
The concert of light classical music and songs will be compered by Mike Dixon who, as a member of the Zambia Society Trust, helps support its work among orphans in Lusaka.
Since leaving Ilkley, Mr Edwards has been based in London. He plays regularly for West End productions, including The Sound of Music, Les Miserables, Mamma Mia and Joseph, and conducts at the Royal Opera House.
The concert starts at 7.30pm and tickets cost £6 including light refreshments.
