Police have appealed for information after a rail conductor was attacked by a male passenger at Shipley railway station while he was checking tickets.
PC Tony Greenwood, of British Transport Police, said: "The man became verbally abusive towards the member of staff, then pushed and threatened him."
The man police are hunting has been described as white, aged about 25, 5ft 6ins, with short ginger hair and stubble. He wore brown glasses with silver rims, black trousers, a blue or black fleece and a pink shirt.
PC Greenwood said: "We take assaults on rail staff extremely seriously.
"Everyone has the right to be able to go to work with out fear or being attacked or abused in this way.
"Any assaults on staff, physical or verbal, will not be tolerated and as one of our key policing priorities we will arrest and prosecute those who commit such crimes."
