Bradford will be brought to life by a ribbon-twirling troupe at the Royal Albert Hall.

The seven women will be performing in front of 4,000 people at today's sold-out Moving Together show.

Choreographed by Jenny Griffin from Heaton, the Yorkshire team will be third on the bill, performing a ribbon dance interpretation of the city at night.

Included in the Yorkshire team are Janet Ridsdale and Julie Hammond, both from Thackley, Denise Burrows of Howarth, Pauline Hill of Bowling, Margaret Campbell of Shipley, Michelle Booth of Baildon and Heather Mawson of Bingley.

Jenny, of Leylands Avenue, Heaton, said: "At the dress rehearsal it looked good and at the Albert Hall, it will look stunning."

Jenny decided to create the Ribbons Of Light dance, set to Rick Wakeman's Return to the Centre of the Earth, after listening to the music for the first time.
