A 30-year-old man has admitted a firearms offence arising from an incident in Bradford over a year ago.

Robert Davies, who now lives in Barnsley, was told by Judge Roger Ibbotson jail was almost inevitable after he admitted possessing an imitation gun with intent to cause Daniel Ellerton to believe violence would be used against him.

Davies also admitted an allegation of affray arising out of the same incident on April 30 last year.

Judge Ibbotson renewed Davies' bail until June 3 when he is due to return to Bradford Crown Court for sentencing.
