Social cohesion and how people across the district integrate will be the subject of a special meeting.

The Education Strategy Group, which provides a forum for key stakeholders to work with Bradford Council in shaping education for the district, is holding the debate at Beckfoot School, Bingley, on Tuesday from 4.30pm.

There will be presentations by Education Bradford and the Schools Linking Network about the support given to schools to address social cohesion.

Kath Tunstall, the Council's strategic director for services for children and young people, said it would allow people to help shape education. To book a place call (01274) 431933.

Unfortunately we are increasingly discouraged from talking openly about the way bradford's society is steadily crumbling around us. We have constructed mechanisms that directly contribute to separation of our diverse cultures and consequently the ideals of "integration" and "cohesion" were never further away. Sadly, the visible actions of a minority create a negative image of the majority, and coupled with the benefit culture that inevitably exists amongst a large and poor ethnic population, there is a growing resentment. Until the authorities junk their so called "inclusive" approach to govt, policing, education etc. this situation can only continue and worsen.
We need to clamp down on ALL benefit cheats, ALL car tax dodgers, and ALL those who committ low level street crime, and make sure we can stand up and say EVERYONE is being treated fairly and equally, with no concessions.

Your views might be opposite but the majority are opposite to you.People have the right to be treated fairly but some of us more fairly than THEM.

How can anyone expect social cohesion to exist when one group of people is growing 400% faster than the others.

Bradford's birth rate will unleash social disorder of catastrophic proportions in the years to come, but don't ever mention disproportionate birth rates while talking about social cohesion - ooh no. 'Social cohesion' is a Marxist mantra devised to ignore the true underlying problems behind Bradford's development as a poverty magnet which produces never ending 'disadvantaged' people who live in 'disadvantaged' areas.

Lets start by not teaching in any other language than english, providing pre-school english so that all our youngsters are capable of communicating with the teacher and each other in the classroom.
