A dance teacher who fulfilled her life-long ambition of becoming a Las Vegas showgirl after battling breast cancer will host a party to raise money for sufferers.
Deanna Morgan, 44, was diagnosed with the illness in 2006 and has undergone a double mastectomy.
It was then she decided that life was for living and the former professional dancer came out of retirement for a season in Devon.
She was part of the Golden girls growing old disgracefully' troupe, and the dancers were thrilled when they were selected to perform at a charity show at the Orleans Hotel on the Las Vegas Strip in November last year.
She said: "People say cancer changes you and you do look at life differently. It was such a hoot on stage with these Vegas showgirls, it was a real high."
Deana will host the boogie and booze' party on Saturday, May 17, at 8pm at her DM Dance Academy in Briggate, Shipley.

Money raised will be donated to Breast Cancer Haven's Yorkshire Appeal, a charity which provides information, support and complementary therapies for cancer sufferers.
She said: "I am urging everyone to dig out their dancing shoes and prepare for a great party in Shipley, while helping to finish the Yorkshire Appeal."
Tickets for the event cost £10. Contact Deana on (01274) 585317 for details.
