Bradford musicians are joining forces for a fundraising concert for Hope Not Hate, the anti-fascist campaign backed by the city's Trades Council.
The gig on Wednesday will be headlined by rock'n'roll veterans Sol Gravy's Real Good Times, and is to feature Imani Hekima's soul-reggae and the blues of singer-songwriter Geoff Hurricane' Watson.
Hosted by the Love Apple Cafe near the Alhambra, the event aims to make a contribution to Hope Not Hate's expenses in combating racism and fascism across the district.
The group is engaging in doorstep canvassing and literature campaigns in the run-up to the May 1 council elections.
Love Apple managing partner Parvez Iqbal said the venue was proud to host the gig "as a way of celebrating multicultural Bradford".
He said: "For more than a decade, our live music and club nights have rejoiced in the fact that people of all kinds of ethnic and cultural backgrounds are welcome in our city."
Sol Gravy said: "It's a great way of highlighting the Hope Not Hate campaign and we promise to put on one hell of a show."
Also on the bill is Edgey The Busker, opening the show at 7pm. Admission is £4 on the door (£3 for concessions), and larger donations would be welcome.
