As a TV reporter with YTV's Calendar, Lisa Adlam has seen first-hand the inspirational work of the children's cancer charity Candlelighters.
Now she is helping them by running the London Marathon to raise funds.
Lisa, 34, who lives in Horsforth and was formerly a reporter with Wharfedale Newspapers, hopes to raise £2,600 - or £100 for every mile she runs.
Candlelighters helps children treated at St James's Hospital in Leeds in a number of ways, including providing equipment and toys for the ward and financial support for parents.
