Learndirect is to launch its annual achievement awards and the group is seeking nominees in the Bradford area.
The awards aim to illustrate the difference learning a skill can make to people's lives. Nominees are welcome from all walks of life, from learners who have overcome difficulties such as dyslexia, to return-learners and businesses working with learndirect to train their workforce.
The project is being supported by former England cricketer and Strictly Come Dancing star, Mark Ramprakash.
Mr Ramprakash said: "I am proud to support the learn-direct Achievement Awards because I know how important it is to boost your skills and potential. The awards recognise people, businesses and learning centres who rise to the challenge of developing new skills. By working to improve themselves they are contributing to the success of local communities and the country too.
"I'd encourage everyone in Bradford to make a nomination by going to www.learndirect.co.uk/awards."
