A schoolgirl has told how she struggled for her life as a man tried to abduct her from a Bradford street.
The brave 15-year-old managed to free herself from her hood-wearing attacker who attempted to drag her into a car containing two other men in Rook Lane, Dudley Hill.
Detectives have now started a manhunt for the trio who were in a metallic blue car, thought to be a Peugeot 306.
The girl, who cannot be identified, told how she was walking home from the Asda supermarket at Bierley, when the car first drove past her and then turned back.
One of the men shouted sexual abuse at her, then got out and grabbed her as she tried to run off in fear.
The teenager said: "I started crying and asking him to leave me alone but he wouldn't.
"I struggled free and ran again and they shouted that they knew where I lived and were going to kill me.
"All that was going through my mind was Oh God! Oh God!' If they get me into that car I've had it, they could do anything."
She said the driver was the really menacing one of the three.
"He didn't even look at me but just sat there staring ahead. He was really big and scary looking, if he had got out of the car I don't think I'd have got away," she said.
"I'd always said if something like this ever happened I would fight them but it wasn't like that. I was just terrified and crying."
The girl's mum, who also cannot be identified, said the attack had left her daughter and her two younger daughters terrified.
She said: "My daughter is a fit, strong girl of 15 but if that had been a 13-year-old girl, or someone weaker they would have had no chance.
"I dread to think what would have happened if they had got her into that car.
"These people need to be caught and locked up before they do this to anyone else.
"My daughter was lucky to escape, she ran to her brother's house but was too scared to phone the police because they had threatened to kill her if she did. They said they knew where she lived.
"She has two younger sisters and they have been badly affected too. My nine-year-old has had to sleep with me so that no-one comes and takes her away'."
The three men are all described as being of Asian appearance and in their early 20s.
Anyone who saw the abduction attempt, which happened at about 6.15pm on Monday in Rook Lane, near Tong Street, or who thinks they may have any information should contact Bradford South CID on (01274) 376585 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
