Budding artists and poets in Bradford who are passionate about animal issues are being sought for a national Youth Art and Poetry Competition.

Education group, Animal Aid, is looking for imaginative talented work from those aged between 11 to 14 years old.

The competition has a different theme for each year group. Year 7 is Caring for Animals, Year 8 is Factory Farming and Year 9 is Animals in Captivity.

Competition co-ordinator Kelly Slade said that 11 to 14 was the perfect age to start thinking about relationships with animals in society.
