FAMILIES queued to have their photographs taken with the famous Coca-Cola truck when it called at Morrisons, at Five Lane Ends, Bradford, today.

Helen Wilson, from Buttershaw, who was there with two of her children said: “We love to see the truck come to Bradford, for us it means Christmas has started.

“There has been mention that Coca-Cola shouldn’t be encouraging children to drink fizzy drinks but parents don’t need to give the drinks to the children. The ones they are giving away are sugar-free anyway. This is purely fun and the message is Christmas is coming.”

Kelli Fletcher, from Wrose also said they loved the truck arriving. “It is such great fun. It’s big and bright and adults get excited seeing it never mind the children.”

Mike and Marilyn Wilmore, also from Wrose added: “Coca-Cola is a massive, international brand. They don’t need to do this but they do because people love it and can relate to the TV ads.”

The truck will be outside Morrisons today until 7pm and then will be at Owlcoates Shopping Centre, Pudsey, tomorrow between 11am and 7pm.
