Youngsters enjoyed a variety of fun, creative activities to celebrate and learn about the culture of Africa.
The ‘Amazing Africa’ day, at Aire View Infant School, Silsden, raised more than £140 for a scheme to build primary schools in Gambia, in north-west Africa.
The day for the five to seven-year-old pupils was arranged by deputy head teacher Tim Whitehead.
