Late frosts are a danger to your outside water pipes and plants coming into leaf and flower. One way to protect them is to use any of the bubble wrap that so often packages items you buy these days. Reader John Taylor, of the Aire Valley suggests wrapping it round your taps or delicate plants and securing it with tape.
