Bradford Bulls stars Paul Deacon and Terry Newton have reminded people there are only days left to sign up for the Bradford 10k road race.

More than 1,000 people have already signed up for the run and the deadline for entries is this Sunday.

The race will begin at 9am in Centenary Square. Prizes will be awarded for male and female first, second and third as well as veterans.

There will be free T-shirts for all runners and refreshments will be available on the day.

Epilepsy Action fundraising events manager Philippa Corner said: “We’ve been overwhelmed by the popularity of the race this year. New entrants are coming forward every day.

“People need to make sure they get online and sign up before March 22 so they don’t miss out.”

The race is also being supported by Bradford Council’s B-active campaign.
