           <title>An early obituary!</title>
           <link>http://www.thetelegraphandargus.co.uk/news/news_opinion/tafeaturesletters/5071388.An_early_obituary_/?ref=rss</link>
           <description>
  SIR – Re the letter from Terry Tordoff &#40;March 15), I do feel he has written the obituary of the SLR camera a little before its actual demise because SLR photography is alive and in rude health in
  the form of the DIGITAL SLR. It is true, as he writes, that anyone can “point a mobile phone and get reasonable images” but, of course, that is hardly the point, as I feel sure Terry already knows.

  SIR – Re the letter from Terry Tordoff &#40;March 15). As one of the fools who “points a digital camera in a general direction to obtain a reasonable picture”, all I can say is, what’s wrong with that?

  SIR – I very much reinforce the comments of Jack MacPherson and John Cook regarding Yorkshire Forward’s appalling lack of interest in maintaining the fabric of the former Odeon.

  SIR – The letter from John Cook &#40;March 6) is very correct and we endorse it completely. Bradford Odeon Rescue Group advised Yorkshire Forward on the internal roof water downpipes, which flood
  completely the upper floor on the Princess Way elevation.
