SIR – I had the pleasure of being in the audience for a concert given by the City of Bradford Brass Band last Saturday night at the Parish Church in Bingley.

The musicianship of the band and of its musical director was absolutely stunning as they performed a number of musical pieces of contrasting styles with great energy and passion.

I would recommend to anyone that they go and see the band themselves.

I would hope that every effort will be made to include them in the official opening of Bradford’s City Park next month and for the next Positive Bradford day that is taking place in late June.
