Tidy-up teamwork was a real pleasure

SIR – I would like to thank everyone who braved the horrendous weather to take part in the Baildon Big Tidy Up.

This was a great opportunity to meet other people who care about keeping our environment safe, clean and pleasant to live in. I thought we made a real difference to the appearance of our village, and I look forward to doing this again in future.

It was a pleasure to work together with councillors and candidates from the Conservative party in Baildon to achieve a common goal, something we should do far more often.
