SIR – I recently conducted a survey throughout Baildon and Esholt asking local residents about their concerns.
Something that came up again and again was that although we live in a beautiful place, the amount of litter on our streets and on the moor ruins it.
With this in mind, I have organised ‘Baildon’s Big Tidy Up’ on Saturday, February 18, meeting at 10am by the cattle grid on Moorgate near Baildon Moor. Keep Britain Tidy have kindly provided bags and posters and Bradford Council have loaned some litter pickers for the event.
I am also grateful to Baildon Parish Council and Friends of Baildon Moor for their support. If you would like to help and make a difference, your efforts would be appreciated. More details are on bigtidyup.org
