SIR – Mubarik Iqbal (Letters, August 26) has “great news”: Iran has nuclear capability! Some may be worried that an undemocratic dictatorship with a belligerent leader, who has already stated his intention to wipe Israel from the face of the planet, already has rockets capable of delivering a nuclear warhead.

This could be of concern to people who hope for a few more years of life.

Those too young to remember the last global conflict could be in for a surprise. Unfortunately, it may be their last.
