SIR – I was recently sent an electricity usage meter by npower, which is easy to fit and gives a read-out of daily/weekly/ monthly usage.
It also gives you a target to work to in order to be a little frugal.
The beauty of the meter is that it is also a safety device. If the reading shows higher than the landing light bulb before retiring to bed, other appliances can be checked and turned off. Nice one, npower!
