SIR – I write to answer David Ward’s letter (March 10) in which he states the Council took the vote to demolish the Odeon.
This is wrong, as Councillor Ward well knows. Is he trying to stir it up in the city by saying this or pick up votes for his election campaign?
The decision on the Odeon was a planning one, not a full Council one, but what I will say is I think it should be restored as a concert venue, as I have said to members of Bradford Odeon Rescue Group on numerous occasions.
