SIR – Re the Odeon building. Bradford Council does not have an automatic right to destroy our heritage. It has a responsibility to maintain, in good order, Bradford’s heritage.
The people of Bradford and beyond have spoken.
Do we have to revert to the saying, ‘We are only free to choose who we want to dictate to us’?
I sometimes wonder why people become so apathetic. A stay of execution is required for our heritage until the new Council takes over. The only thing I can say to this Council is go and be gone.
