Pool will pull crowds

SIR – Iain Morris says he has no idea what a mirror pool is (T&A, February 27).

Official sources describe it as a body of shallow water with a smooth surface and a dark base, enabling it to reflect large amounts of light and images like that in the National Botanic Gardens, Wales.

There is also another fine example of one in Bordeaux, France. The mirror pool being constructed in Bradford’s City Park, will not only enhance its surroundings but attract visitors and residents alike. Just wait and see.
