SIR – Has anyone else read about the decision regarding the old Majestic cinema in Leeds?
It was turned into a nightclub but has been unused for a number of years. As it is becoming an eyesore, a decision has been taken to refurbish it and bring the building back to its former glory.
Now why didn’t our Council think of doing that with the Odeon before they voted to pull it down, especially as the Majestic isn’t a patch on the Odeon as far as looks go.
I don’t suppose that even at this late stage they could change their minds. No, didn’t think there was.
