SIR – Re your headline “City Hall to get a great new outlook” (T&A, February 15). When I saw this, I thought the entire Council had resigned at last, and we could look forward to a new set of councillors with vision and initiative.
But sadly, no, I was too optimistic. It was only another demolition job which the present Council is famous for.
However, it will give the Council a clearer view of the Odeon building before it carries out its demolition work on that.
