SIR – Something must be done about irresponsible dog owners who let their dogs poo anywhere and everywhere.

Walking around Idle, I counted 17 piles of dog poo deposited out side shop doors, in the middle of the pavement and in the park where children play.

Wherever we walk, it’s there staring us right in the face. I am fed up of having to clean my grand-children’s shoes and pram wheels free of dog poo.

If these people think they are responsible enough to have a dog, then they should learn how to clean up after it.
