SIR - What a great shame that the boss of Bower Green Ltd is set to move his company away from Bradford because of the blight of fly tipping.

To be honest, I don’t blame him. When my family has visitors from overseas we are ashamed that they have to see all the rubbish strewn around our streets. Yet, if one goes to other parts of Europe the situation is quite different. Indeed, to drop a sweet wrapper in some countries is almost a mortal sin!

And a member of the public will tell you to pick it up there and then. Unfortunately, the young vandals who destroyed the outdoor classroom and the White Abbey Road Community Centre will be our fly tippers of the future.

They have no respect for themselves or for other people and property.
