Someone has to pay
SIR – It was so sad to read about Clayton Village Hall broken into by thieves and a large number of items stolen (T&A, September 3).
These vandals should be made to pay, I hope the police can catch them quickly.
The village hall volunteers do a great job providing many services to the local people. It’s the hub of our community, I just cannot believe someone would do that. What is our society coming to?
