SIR – In response to Karl Dallas (Letters, July 25), I also read with horror the impossible position that the Liberal Democrat party put MP David Ward in. He was forced to apologise merely for a tweet in moral support of Palestinian people in Gaza under heavy bombing from Israel. I doubt not that he made this unctious display of faux contrition through gritted teeth. I urge Bradford West MP David Ward to abandon them and join my new party, the Northern Tea Party: for a Liberal Society and a democratic United Kingdom. And after asking for corporate and business sponsorship I am confidant that together we can raise the cash and support to mount a serious challenge to the establishment come May 2015.
