SIR – The scaffolding is up around City Hall. It’s going to cost £2 million to repair the crumbling building. Our money is to be wasted yet again. I say let is crumble. Let it fall down as it’s of no use to anyone.

People go in but don’t do anything except come up with crackpot ideas such as which road to add bus-only lanes, causing untold congestion on Otley Road in Shipley.

Along with City Hall, we have the eyesore of the Odeon building with scaffolding, and grass growing on the roof. Sort this out first, as it looks ridiculous for visitors to our city.
