Nigel Farage
SIR – According to Rick Jones (Letters, April 14) “the people have spoken”.
What people? It is true that Nigel Farage and others in UKIP make a noise, but so do barking dogs.
Personally, I am fed up with this “farage” of U-kippery with all its over-simplistic, divisive and out-dated notions. Britain is big in the EU and exerts much more influence than bleating U-kippers would have us believe.
In the end, common-sense will prevail, and UKIP will become a faint memory of past foolishness, along with the fatuous grin of Nigel Farage. The Bloom will have faded, too.
