Instead he was thrown into the middle of some of the biggest news stories in the UK - the Ripper, Ray Honeyford, the Bradford City fire, the Rushdie book burning - winning awards along the way. Perhaps he found what he was after. Simon Waites Simon Waites is Assistant Editor (Sport & Pictures) at the T&A. A press photographer by trade, he casts his more creative eye on the world.
Peter & Kiran Rowe with son Harry Pete and Kiran Rowe are former T&A journalists. They emigrated to Australia in 1999, where they live with son Harry. They still have family living in Bradford, in Lidget Green, and many friends across the city. Peter is currently the deputy editor of the regional daily newspaper for the Coffs Coast and Kiran now works for the government, having recently become an Australian citizen. Joolz Denby Joolz Denby is a Bradford-based writer and poet, well-known as a performance artist and author of the Orange Prize-nominated novel Billie Morgan. She has also created the artwork for all Bradford band New Model Army's albums.
