Council leader Kris Hopkins takes Keighley for Tories

Kris Hopkins gives his victory speech today after taking Keighley for the Conservatives
Bradford Council leader Kris Hopkins has become the new MP for Keighley after wresting the seat from Labour.
He polled more than 20,000 votes, with Jane Thomas, the Labour candidate, trailing by 3,000.
In accepting the victory, Kris Hopkins said: "I will represent everybody. This Government has done a huge amount of damage to this country and the work starts now to put that right."
The election does now raise the issue of who will lead Bradford Council.
