Bradford artist Bob Barker has handed over his latest piece for charity One in a Million to auction at their third annual Stars Awards fundraising dinner next month.
Mr Barker painted this exclusive piece after hearing about the charity and wanting to help with the work they do.
The charity, co-founded by former Bradford City assistant manager and player Wayne Jacobs, is dedicated to helping disadvantaged children through sporting activities and informal education and preventing crime and anti-social behaviour while promoting healthy living and community cohesion.
Mr Jacobs said: “We are privileged and honoured that Bob would do this for us.
“The fact that such an amazing artist, who is also local, has chosen to support us means a great deal to us.”
The piece, called One Day I’ll Fly, will be auctioned along with other items at the charity’s main fundraising event at Bradford Grammar School on Saturday, October 22.
Bids are being accepted from now until the event. To place a bid call (01274) 723439 or e-mail auction@oneinamillion.org.uk.
