POLICE have arrested a woman in connection with alleged prostitution in the Wibsey area of Bradford.

Officers said the woman was detained after concerns were raised by members of the public. 

A spokesman for the Bradford South Neighbourhood Policing Team said: "Officers would like to thank the public for providing us with information regarding prostitution in the Wibsey area.

"Officers have acted on the information provided and have arrested a female."

It is understood the woman was taken into custody last night.
