FREE health checks, advice and information is being organised at a self-care event tomorrow (Wednesday) at Girlington Community Centre (pictured)
A similar event was held in March this year and was a great success in letting residents know about what is available.
Clarendon Medical Centre has organised the day of care advice with a group of Bradford practices including Picton Medical Centre, Bilton Medical Centre, Avicenna Medical Centre, Kensington Street Surgery, Bradford Student Health and Girlington Community Centre.
There will be a variety of stalls from general practices to voluntary community sectors, winter advice, cancer screening, Age Uk, Hale and ABL, social prescribers and SharingVoices.
As well as the free health checks there will be refreshments. It takes place from 10am to 3pm.
