Heckmondwike club needs volunteers

The organiser of Heckmondwike’s monthly free music shows at the Comrades Club is appealing for volunteers to spread the word about the free shows.

Donal O’Driscoll said: “Crown of Lights Acoustic and Band Nights have been running for more than four years, but we believe there is a huge number of people who live within walking distance from the Regent Street who don’t even know it’s happening.”

Volunteers are needed to deliver leaflets to 20 areas with between 70 to 200 households in and around Heckmondwike and Liversedge.
