RESURFACING works begin on Monday in Cleckheaton at the junction of the A638 Dewsbury Road and the A643 St Peg Lane in the town.
The work is scheduled to take place between 7pm and midnight on weekdays and as required on weekends for a period of three weeks.
On occasion, work may need to take place outside of these times, in which case the Council will be in touch with affected residents and businesses.
The works will require the closure of a section of the A643 between Westgate/Parkside and St Peg Lane.
The A638 Dewsbury/ Bradford Road will remain open, however traffic will be managed with temporary two-way traffic light signals.
Three bus services will be diverted during the works with the 252, 253, and 255 not stopping between Westgate and Spen Lane, Gomersal, during construction hours.
