A PARTY from the Ecclesiastical Architects and Surveyors Association visited a church in the district following its annual national conference.
They visited Whitechapel Church in Cleckheaton, where they were welcomed by music from the church’s bells, and were given a tour and talk about the building.
The Rev Brunel James, the church’s vicar, said: “We’re honoured to be recognised by the EASA, their visit was a tribute to the amazing work done by the volunteers who have preserved the historic Whitechapel Church for the future.”
