A GROUP in Brighouse, which wants to decorate the town with yarn for the Tour de Yorkshire next month, has begun receiving donations.
The Brighouse Incredible Yarnbombers (pictured) asked for donations of spare wool, or help from knitters and crocheters.
The group wants people to make yellow jersey bunting, flowers, and pompoms that can be strung together throughout the town.
Liz Kenny said: “When we started out on this journey we weren’t sure what response we would get, but I am happy to say things are starting to come together.”
The cycling race passes through Brighouse on April 30.
