FIREFIGHTERS rescued a horse that had become trapped between two fences.
A specialist technical rescue officer and the technical rescue unit from Cleckheaton Fire Station was called to Walton Heights, Hightown, in Liversedge, at about 11.30pm yesterday.
The animal had become trapped between a metal fence and a wooden fence. Firefighters rescued the horse by removing some of the timber fence panels, which allowed it to move and free itself.
It was then led to safety by firefighters and was uninjured, said fire crews.
