A WOMAN accused of murdering her partner in Gomersal has made her first appearance at Leeds Crown Court.
Michelle Spencer, 47, is charged with the murder of David Butterfield, 43, at their home in Shirley Terrace.
She made no application for bail at the hearing today.
The Recorder of Leeds, Judge Peter Collier QC, set a date of February 15 for a pre-trial hearing and remanded Spencer in custody until then.
Mourners have begun to lay flowers and mementos on the drive of the property, which is now boarded up.
