A WOMAN has been taken to hospital with multiple injuries after a road accident.
The elderly woman, who was a pedestrian, was injured in a collision involving a car in Roberttown, Liversedge.
Her injuries include a head injury and she was taken to Leeds General Infirmary.
The incident happened near the crossroads of Child Lane, Sunny Bank Road, Huddersfield Road and Leeds Road shortly before 2.30pm yesterday.
A spokesman for Yorkshire Ambulance Service said: "We received a call at 14.26 yesterday to reports of an elderly lady who had been in a collision with a car.
"We sent an ambulance rapid response vehicle and the Yorkshire Air Ambulance.
"She was conveyed by road ambulance to Leeds General Infirmary with multiple injuries including a head injury."
